Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is a leading Lithuanian university providing a wide range of studies and research and closely cooperating with business. KTU originates from the University of Lithuania founded in Kaunas on 16 February 1922. Since its establishment KTU has played one of the most important roles in the building of the identity of the regional and national academic environment, fostering and preservation of cultural and ethical values, promotion of the development of society and education as well as research and innovation breakthroughs. KTU currently has nearly 7300 students and 1100 academic employees enrolled across 9 faculties and 8 research institutes.

Dr. Gintarė Tautkevičienė
Dr. Gintarė Tautkevičienė, is the Library Director and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Kaunas University of Technology. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Education) from Kaunas University of Technology (2005) and she is a member of the Joint educational PhD committee. She was involved in the EU-funded projects DEDICATE, PERINE, OpenAIRE, OpenAIREplus, OpenAIRE2020 and OpenAIRE-Advance. Recently she is involved in Erasmus+ projects: University libraries strengthening the academia-society connection through citizen science in the Baltics (LibOCS); Higher education resilience in refugee crises: forging social inclusion through capacity building, civic engagement and skills recognition (AGILE); Supporting Ukraine through citizen engagement at Baltic Universities (Baltics4UA).

Rasa Dovidonytė
Rasa Dovidonytė works at Kaunas Technological University Library as a head of University Campus Library and as a project specialist at Erasmus+ project “Supporting Ukraine through citizen engagement at Baltic Universities (Baltics4UA)”. She has a Master’s degree in Political Sciences at Kaunas University of Technology.
